Raw Beef Knee Caps
Raw beef knee caps are a frozen to thaw treat for dogs that are rich in protein, packed with essential vitamins and nutrients and are effective in reducing plaque and tartar. Mathis Meat recommends treating small to medium dogs once to twice per week. Each box comes with an assortment of knee caps that average 28-30 lbs per box.
Proper Handling & Care
All kneecaps are to remain frozen, until feeding; as the shelf life unthawed is 2-3 days. Be sure to refrigerate in between servings to eliminate bacterial growth. Toss old bones away that don't have any marrow or meat left; as it can become brittle and break apart. Avoid feeding to dogs that tend to break their teeth when chewing, or dogs who have had restorative dental work. If your dog has a predisposition to pancreatitis, withold raw marrow bones as they are too rich. Supervise your pet when feeding raw bones and manage your pack if you have a multi-dog household.
