How Our System Works

Mathis Meat provides frozen raw pet food through a reoccurring five week delivery schedule. Orders are placed in advance and fulfilled through pre-assigned delivery routes or pickup from our Kansas City cold storage facility.

This system allows us to move volume efficiently while maintaining product quality from storage to pickup.

Why We Use A Scheduled Model

We do not operate on-demand shipping.

A scheduled model allows us to maintain frozen product integrity, coordinate multi-state logistics, reduce unnecessary handling and freight costs, and offer volume-based pricing.

Orders are grouped, routed, and fulfilled according to established schedules rather than individual shipping requests.

NEW: Freight Shipping (LTL Pallet Orders)

For customers outside of our scheduled delivery routes, Mathis Meat offers nationwide palletized freight shipping (LTL) for pallet orders to commercial facilities..

Freight orders are individually quoted based on location, order size, and delivery type.

Delivery Routes

Delivery routes operate every five weeks and serve select cities across multiple states.

Each route includes assigned delivery dates, designated pickup locations, and estimated time windows. Orders must be placed before route deadlines to be included.

Kansas City Cold Storage Pickup

Orders may also be picked up directly from our Kansas City cold storage facility, which serves as our primary storage and distribution hub.

Pricing & Access

Mathis Meat products are available through a limited number of independent retailers and partners.
